Poem on a dream

Once in a dream I walked
Upon a bank of fragrant violets
Breathing in the scent of
The delicate purple blooms
Across a fridge fresh golden river
I saw myself as I was once
Before my illness devoured my
Sense of self and confidence
Within that dream I saw
All manner of my moods
And emotions such like
I have not felt in years
I wish I was across that
Golden river right now
