Time Stands Still

The wind has
changed from
warm to cold.
The valentines are
laid out on
the shelves
waiting for
cupid's arrow.
The lighted
sphere
made its' way
to the bottom
in
Time's Square.
The old has
changed over
to new.
The sod on
the ground
is mending
slowly,
but
you can still
tell.
The house so
empty without
a little girl's
chatter.
The room
so cold to
walk through.
The baby doll's
smile seems
less cheerful.
The heart
so full of
deep
sadness.
The little
angel
never
turns
four.
