What A Shame

Maybe if I die, someone might wonder, someone might cry.
Someone may even feel guilt, for lies friendship was built.
If only I could accomplish this, I would die knowing someone cared to cry.
Finally the memories and hurt would be put to rest.
No more worthless breaths for my chest.
Maybe I would live on in someone’s mind,
Only now when it doesn’t matter, when it is me you can’t find.
You know it is way too late
To fix anything for yourself when you are just left with hate.
I don’t know who I am anymore,
All I know is I feel this pain and hate,
I choke, give me more, I’m insane.
Give myself up to this constant blame.
When I’m dead, oh it won’t be a shame.
It won’t be a shame to any one of you at all.
