Bedroom Failures

I take directions like or not,
It is the normal husband's lot,
When it comes to changing sheets,
I'm Johnny on the bedroom spot.

Don't forget the pillow cases,
They're included, some with laces,
Every Friday, Shirl or I,
Charge the bedding or I try.

I can take an auto motor,
change the gas pump or the rotor
Switch a tire from front to back
Put it on an oil rack.

Beat an egg until it foams
Make it pretty, like the poems
Make a stack of griddle cakes
Please believe this fellow bakes.

Those are all my attributes,
Those are all I call my beauts,
I cannot change a sheet without
A bunch of wrinkles. There is no doubt.

No matter how I try be neat,
I can't tuck corners in a sheet,
In the bedroom I have no backing,
Just another thing I am lacking...
