A MORNING STROLL
As I go walking in the cool breeze, I feel the peace and tranquillity is always splendid.
Soft bird song floating while sheep stand contented.
A butterfly lands on a flower I find,
Moving rather haughty.
Feelers search out his prize,
Then it’s off for another sortie.
Beams of sunlight cast out true,
Braking past the overcast silence.
Rain starts to spatter then drop,
With force from natures violence.
An apple I bite its sweet incise,
Just the tonic for a morning stroll.
For reflection and thought I come,
To clear the head and cleanse the soul.
