Doctor’s orders,
home alone
house detention,
cannot roam
all the preppers
love to drone,
‘Should’a listened!’
now I’m boned.
toilet paper
down to squares,
neighbours said they
have no spares,
beans and rice
coffee grains,
guess I’ll ration
what remains.
binging Netflix,
end of days
armageddon
in a haze,
distancing while on the mend
—kinda wanting to hug a friend
world-wide is the same refrain,
will we ever be the same?
