[bodytext] => I look over and see it locked away,
and I think to myself, will today be the day?
Will I find release?
Will I finally rest in peace?
Will I put the barrel to my brain?
and do away with all the pain?
I never understood suicide,
but the thoughts have been rolling in like the tide.
I think of the life I once had,
and how my life has been getting gravely bad.
All it would take is just one squeeze,
then maybe I`ll be at ease.
As I lay here gun in hand,
I wonder will this be my last stand.
A stand against my thoughts alone,
Because sharing them with my other half is like picking a bone.
When I reach out and try to share,
I get back a tone of I don`t care.
I made a promise till death do we part,
And that came from the heart.
But as I lay here tonight,
I can`t help but wonder if I`ll loose this fight.
