Weve all wrestled with our ghosts
Left dangling at the edge
We all come from a broken home
Weve all been lost, with no where to go
And nothing ever comes easy
When its easy to feel helpless
But we cant wave our white flags
When were pulled in every direction
Spent a life time trying to change our reflection
Chasing their definition of perfection
How do we escape a hell
Where we devalue ourselves
Taught were not aloud to be proud
And dreams are for the lucky
How can we ever be happy
When were made to feel so worthless
Struggling through life with out purpose
Because we all feel alone
Were all just looking for a friend
A place we fit in
So we can pretend that we’re okay for while
Forcing a half hearted smile
Careful not to get close
Because were waiting for it all to end
Leaving us on our own again
Sifting through the moments and memories
Till they become the enemy
Another mark we can never show

We all have scars that we dont show
Weve all wrestled with our ghosts
Left dangling at the edge
We all come from a broken home
Weve all been lost, with no where to go
And nothing ever comes easy
When its easy to feel helpless
