[hometext] => The curative powers of love bash memories to dust
[bodytext] => What stole my soul, made off with my heart?
What savage beast without teeth ripped my core clean apart?
I’ve traveled a lifetime, miles like air,
absorbing imprinting all that I see in hopes of repair.
This mirage I follow, though lie known to me,
unveiled is sweeter than all realities be.
Just when I reach, oh the point where I’m sure,
like memory’s vapor I cling to my last molecule pure.
When the voices stop ringing, lay down for the night,
echoes on echoes still singing, pain abandoned still stinging,
yet whenever I hold her fades away in her loves precious light.
