Not one is worth it.
Some may say I neglected my duties,
Neglected my right to vote.
Not sorry I say, to those who think that
For I feel they have failed to note
The people are sad,
feel hard done by,
As we struggle day to day
And the rich fly high.
So, I held my vote, a higher standard we need’
Not parties who bend and twist at the knee’s!
Nor do we want one’s bend to corruption
Or get a complex, Politics’ seduction.
We want, no DEMAND,
People who will stand, stand a fight
For the rights of common man.
I may be one person but one is a start,
So, my vote I will hold,
And pay my fine for the FARCE!
Just think what I’ve said,
When you’re paying your bills.
Your phone, electricity, rates and more
Your rego and insurance and petrol and such
It come to where the costs have spiralled.
So, ponder for now, I ask you this much.
