[bodytext] => Been seeing a therapist and have been learning to gradually understand myself better and shed some of these "masks." The title is the "tagline" or titular "subtext" to my relationship, as children only wander so far. This reflects both that progress, as well as a moment where I had a sort of "dissociation" while working, so that I could think and let my body "autopilot" the routine tasks of the job, while I philosophized and looked deeply into myself and learned more about me. Been braver in that regard, and managed to find myself an epiphany that gave me a state of "euphoria" I would say. I could feel the cool air and when I touched my skin it tickled and felt good, almost like the feeling I once had when I tried MDMA- only better in that I didn/'/t need some chemical to do it.
For the first time in what feels like a lifetime
Passions burn and my heart grows
My body comes to a state of autonomy
Mind and heart hold hands, eager- free to roam
With every kiss they share, my soul fondly weeps
I/'/ve been too stingy, with the pain and grief I keep
I played with fire and burned my hands
And chose to never play again
My only solace thereby then?
Was to view the world, as some pretend
Incrementally, I/'/m learning to let go
Relinquish fear, and obsession of control
