you fought so hard
I can`t believe your laughter is gone
you shared your pain
with the whole world
while facing all your demons head-on
you sang for us
to say goodbye
I can`t believe you went out that way
you gave your voice
to all of us
a generation living in pain
you sat with me
in darkest times
the closest thing to a friend I had
telling me I
wasn`t alone
just knowing someone could understand
meant everything
you were everything
I just wish you didn`t have to go
it kills me that
you`ll never know
you saved me from the undertow [comments] => 4 [counter] => 151 [topic] => 39 [informant] => MoonlitAngel [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief ) Your Poetry Dot Com - The Undertow
