Unlike You

Unlike you
I/'/ll never do you any harm
Even though
Thoughts of you will never
Keep me warm
Just the vision of your face
Puts me in a very dark place
Once I had mad love for you
But you wouldn/'/t see it through
It was so easy for you to say goodbye
As if you didn/'/t even have to try
Even though I crumbled up deep inside
You could never take away my pride
At times you made me feel so small
But I always gave you my all
