[hometext] => Memories of memories
[bodytext] => The sign said DRINK ME, so I did;
And threw up on my shoes.
The sign said SMOKE ME, so I puffed;
And saw the world in twos!
The sign said TAKE THIS LITTLE PILL”;
And so alas I swallowed.
I stayed awake and never ate;
Until my eyes were hollowed.
Ive wandered vacant rainbows;
Ive given life away;
We take our turn; our candle burns;
She leads us far astray.
No matter how we court her;
Make-believe cant stay;
One day she just outruns us;
If were wise, she gets away.
