The crueler her ways; the more he delays;
He buries truth with illusion.
Each day he sustains, a lie to remain;
In love with his bitter delusion.
Its better to stay unhappy today;
Than cry all alone tomorrow;
He will nurture the hope, that if only he copes;
She may soothe away all of his sorrow.
He dwells in a prison;
Where walks indecision;
Whose gates have never been locked.
Except by his lies;
The fear of good byes
And the echoes of happiness mocked.
