The events of our past are seen
All good and bad are told of then
Nothing can hide what has been written
No one can tell what path should have been ridden,
We cannot change what we already did
But what we didnt do can always be hid
All the things in our past predict our future
And everything in it is put in one picture
The flag we wave so high and above
Stands to show we faught back when shoved
You know what will and wont
Even if others sarcastically dont
No matter the distance or discrase
Our past is ours and it sets our pace
It made us what we are today
And looking back makes that possible to say
Our beautiful country has come far
And we see that in our flag with every star
United we can stand
Holding each other hand in hand
Stand tall and be proud of our fight
For all those soldiers who faught in the night
This is our past I am looking through
And through all the times our flad has flown too
I am proud to be part of our future past
And hope every bit of my history will last

I look down the road of history
And see the details of his and her story
The events of our past are seen
All good and bad are told of then
Nothing can hide what has been written
No one can tell what path should have been ridden,
We cannot change what we already did
