You’re the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen

from newborn to now and in between,

this world gives an inch, takes a mile,

but since you all I do is smile, smile, smile.

Now I know the other side

where happy plays and sadness hides,

wouldn’t blink or think twice on the trade

of a day with you for all that/'/s made.

I’ve always swapped seats in the loo,

with the world for who would doo on who,

since you I’ve had one goal in life,

to be a man you would a wife.

Now you’re left right finger shines a ring,

all our yesterdays are songs I sing,

I bless the day you walked the aisle,

all I do now is smile, smile, smile.
