Shattered, empty, dark inside
Cold, dark, no place to hide

Whispers, murmurs, fill my head
Confusion blindly leading dread

Desperate pleadings, torn apart
No way out, no place to start

Echos bounding, drowning walls
Roaring as the madness calls

Lost in darkness, where is here
Tense emotions, seething fear

Silence as the veil descends
All is clear as the shadow bends

Abrupt as nothing the mist dissolves
Gliding as the calm evolves
