Come sit have a Drink

Been a hard day
Had a rough life
Why do I even try?

Well darling take this daisy
Give us a smile
See there Everything will be ok

All this will eventually go away
And you/'/ll be seeing better days

I/'/m just getting by
No matter how hard I try
I just can/'/t get a break

Well darling a penny for your thoughts
And if I can ill help with all I got
But as long as you try
Ain/'/t no reason to cry

If you gave it your best
Just lay it the rest you can try another day
This will all go away

I/'/m just tired to my soul
What do I do? I just don/'/t know

Girl, pull up a chair sit awhile
Ain/'/t never had a problem time couldn/'/t mend
If you/'/ll let it its your friend
So have a Drink make the time go by
And let me tell you why
