I write of my plight,
as part of this scourge on Earth.

Part of the race,
that descended from apes,
and were supposedly great, but cursed.

A beast that could think,
with fire, wheel and instinct.
a brain that remembers the past,
discover fire, discover science,
then discover war...the race won/'/t last.

Kill or be killed,
the cry of the day,
when man pits himself against man.

beliefs of the past,
stories of gods,
become the catalyst of demand.

Twisting, perverting,
maiming the race.
never to rise, I feel.

Past anger and hate,
fear is our fate.
never to see peace, love.

Tonight I write,
I write of my plight,
as part of this scourge on Earth.

Part of the race,
that descended from apes,
and were supposedly great, but cursed.

A beast that could think,
with fire, wheel and instinct.
a brain that remembers the past,
discover fire, discover science,
then discover war...the race won/'/t last.

Kill or be killed,
the cry of the day,
when man pits himself against man.

beliefs of the past,
stories of gods,
become the catalyst of demand.

Twisting, perverting,
maiming the race.
never to rise, I feel.

Past anger and hate,
fear is our fate.
never to see peace, love.
