When the last word was the very last.
When the last drop was all there was.
When the last touch was the last time.
When the last stop was the end of the line.
When you realise that there is not a minute more.
When you feel stripped and bare to the core.
When the night you experience is the darkest of dark.
When the table is cleared and the emptiness stark...
That is when the ONLY way is up,
when you crawl forward and REFUSE to stop.
When you turn to growl at the darkness snapping at your heels,
that is when you get to know how COURAGE feels!
