Hands
Listless hands
Hands that guided, moulded
destiny into life,
when the spark rushed through
thy hands, now listless
Hands that entwined into wedded bliss once
Hands that grasped fingers
tiny and tender.
Thy hands, now listless
Hands that joined in prayer,
drop in surrender.
Hands, now stretch and grasp
at the unknown.
