Social Media Gone Too Far

Hey all you Facebookers listen to me
I'm not some teenager laid out in bed
You're at a funeral home visiting the dead
I may be in this coffin, a sight to see
Unable to breathe
My life is now gone
But I have my family here to be with me
This ain't no party, not about you
Not a happening place to be
You're not a writer or a star
You'll get no critical acclaim from me
Who invited you anyway
A bunch of wannabes
With no other place to be
I didn't know you before
Why now do you throw yourself at me
A funeral is what it is
For my extended family
Including me
Show your disingenuous self to the door
Don't come around here no more
Twitter is for twits
Myspace is not yours
Get your face out of my book
This is my funeral, not a venue for entertainment whores
