Time arrested in the air,
As a floating quotient.
The clock's tick stopped,
And seconds hang impaired
Like Samson's severed locks.

Save the broken day away,
And gather up a sliver
Or what shadow still persists
Of that which hasn't gone astray.
Troubled hours still exist,
For life is always bound to wither,

Echoes in a corridor that seems
To have no end;
Fruitless marching up and down
For truth that breaks and bends;
Trapped inside a clouded dream:
A picture without sound.

The heavy future falls
And breaks the mold.
Burdened is the mind
That builds its walls
Before the path unfolds.
An outcome unavoidable:
The blind shall lead the blind.

A frozen moment:
Time arrested in the air,
As a floating quotient.
The clock's tick stopped,
And seconds hang impaired
Like Samson's severed locks.

Save the broken day away,
And gather up a sliver
Or what shadow still persists
Of that which hasn't gone astray.
Troubled hours still exist,
For life is always bound to wither,

Echoes in a corridor that seems
To have no end;
Fruitless marching up and down
For truth that breaks and bends;
Trapped inside a clouded dream:
A picture without sound.

The heavy future falls
And breaks the mold.
Burdened is the mind
That builds its walls
Before the path unfolds.
An outcome unavoidable:
The blind shall lead the blind.
