Crown Jewel

With a blast of your arctic indifference
I am left frozen in your resolve.
Kindred; romanticizing ambivalence,
A crime of passion I can't absolve
Icy to the touch, yet readily dissolves
Melting, shadow of a man you are,
Dribbling, snivelling, unappreciative wretch-
With hand outstretched, deep into the jar
If caught you whistle for a loyal dog to fetch
Sketchy in your attempts to redeem yourself,
Crystalline lies have hardened their shell,
Biding opportune chance to consume itself
Complacent in your eternal hell.
Darkened corner, where your pride still dwells,
Comatose pulse to your own demise.
Summon from its slumber in high stakes war,
You're a toothy wolf in sheep's disguise.
Greedily seeking, always demanding more
Steadily giving less, like an unpaid whore
A puddle of resistance- you fool.
I said; Sit. Stay, *****. It is you on all fours,
Attempting to barter your crown jewel.
