Discovering a friend
Date: Monday, 5th January 2015 @ 09:34:00 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry
Contributed By: FireStarter
I see you over there strewn across the floor
lookin' like you want to be held and wanting to be so much more
Wanting to be more than paper with words that have no end
I walk over to you: wanting, needing to discover a friend
Your binding is molding and torn without a doubt
Your story is never-ending and flowing throughout
Our stories are alike in this way; they will never end
I hope you're wanting, needing to discover a friend
As I gently pick you up and carry you away
I know you'll be by my side and ill learn your story all dayu
And ill tell you mine until the world ends
I know that I've finally discovered a friend
