Radio Silence

I confessed.
You smugly dissed,
My long-awaited kiss
Perhaps,
A letter I've missed?
Why the silence.
I gave you full compliance,
Sparking my defiance
Breathe life.
Make me self reliant
Not to be a tyrant,
Or a brute
But why so hasty
To give me the boot?
I find it rather rude.
Akin to craving food,
Give me something to chew
Who's using who?
Fill my palate with something filling
Quench my thirst with something spilling,
Your break time is up-
Like a volcano; erupt.
