Bubble Bath Boogie

Jump in the tub; time for a scrub!
Cellopane rainbows blub blub blub!
Little bare knees poke through the white down;
Ten toes for anchors ensure I don’t drown!
Bobbing around with a glass full of grog;
Peering through steam; I’m a ship in the fog.
Bottles and soap mark the distant shoreline;
Avast all ye mateys, into the brine!
Right through my fingers, the bar of soap sank;
I dive in to save her, (or else walk the plank)!
Man overboard! Toss me a line!
I swim to the sponge, and board just in time!
Paddling for life with my long-handled brush…
Churning the waters in one foamy rush!
Gotta make shoreline before it gets dark!
Or suffer the wrath of the pink Camay shark!
The cannon are firing, the shampoo’s been hit;
They’ve boarded the cream rinse and sullied the mit!
I crawl up the sand dune and climb to the rug;
With my last burst of strength I pull out the plug!
The whirlpool ensues with a gurgling growl;
I watch them all sink in my shivering towel.
The villans have suffered the brunt of my wrath;
And I hereby proclaim (until my next bath)!
This vessel is sound for all ye who cower;
By trading the treacherous seas for a shower!
