Who will love me...

I’ve made many mistakes,
I’ve taken hearts for granted on my many misled paths.
Between the anguish, the tears and my many laughs.
I find my self alone…standing here on these tracks.
Memories of yesterday and the loves that didn't last.
I can never change the past.
Stripped of everything that I am…
Alone, perhaps this is the way it has to be.
In the end, all I ask “who will love me”
Paths that left me in positions that I could’ve done things so differently.
Perhaps it was the way I approached everything so innocently.
Jaded by lovers that promised lives of forever,
Hidden behind the motives of intimacy,
All I ask “who will love me”…unconditionally.
Tomorrow will come and this pain will subside.
Maybe this feeling of Jekyll and Hyde…
Will finally rest and find a place to hide.
Barriers that I built kept “the one” away,
Relive moments, breath, keep faith and pray…
That somewhere,
I will find…
Someone…”who will love me”
Someday…
