Like memories of yesterday
footsteps lead down a path less taken
weaving a trail of turns and brush
scorching suns
burn the sand
waves crash into cliffs with rage
pounding away
the sediment caves
shaping scenery by force
taking hold
then letting go
taking hold
then letting go
the repetitive cycle
spins its wheels
kicks up dust
when all hope is lost
