I've always been told I should think these things through
But there you are so close with something so rare
Could it be you who will be the answer to my prayer?

Alone i stare at a blank screen to a text
Unable to find the right words to say to you next
I'm falling hard and falling fast
Quickly forgetting the heart-ache that haunts my past

My heart's pounding hard in my chest
I know for certain you're different from all the rest
My hands are shaking, Oh god what do i do?
I just want to be so close to you

How to express exactly what I'm feeling,
How to make these words appealing?
How can I show you how perfect you really are?
Tell you that you're my wishing star

From today and from now on, I'm setting a goal
A goal to prove that you are my one true complete whole

Sitting here lost in thought's of only you
I've always been told I should think these things through
But there you are so close with something so rare
