My senses grow weary without your face
Delicate features enthrall my being
Filling myself with your wonderful grace

Arise in my heart, O maiden of beauty
Unworthy am I, to taste how sweet
Your kiss on my lips is softer than velvet
And petals of roses when gently they meet

You are, O maiden, O beautiful maiden
More fair than ten thousand women could be
Though I would search far through all of my lifetime
I'd find not one that compareth to thee

Sweet ray of sunlight, so bright to my eyes
You chase all the sinister darkness away
Your heart is truly my refuge for hiding
When troubles surround me to darken my day

My arms are wide open to welcome you to me
An oasis to soothe in a dry, arid place
O maiden of beauty, I wait to embrace you
In awe when beholding your heavenly face
