The land of Nothing( Poem for America)

The homeland
Mountains so tall
The giving hand
I think it's worth it to know
The story of a place called home
We were all newcomers in the beginning
Our minds full of new ideas for a new start
Living our lives happily
Maybe even grinning
We weren't alone on our new home
The people of nature
We attacked, hunted, the whole land we comb
For what reason I'm not sure
We were happy with what we had done
But still our "Freedom" we hadn't won
Our motherland mistreated us
Now we knew what to do
Didn't even need to discuss
We fought death with Rebellion
We stood up to tyranny
Now we made the sounds of a free people
Free to make ourselves what we want to be
Free to be whoever, free to be me.....
Now we are nothing
A land filled with nothing
No one to care for nothing
No one to cry for nothing
Now we are nothing
Nothing but empty
Maybe that's what we were to begin with
Maybe we weren't meant to be filled
Maybe we weren't meant to be free.......
