Sitting all peaceful and quiet,
no lights turned on in the house.
Watching a spooky movie
Halloween lights on in the windows
and blinking out on the deck.
Front door locked up tight
patio door open a crack for a
breath of cool fall wind.

Screaming on the movie
I, all into the scene.
Then outside I heard load voices
couldn't believe what I was hearing.
Off to pause went my spook thriller
I had to listen with intent ears
yes,yes I heard them
Brainsssssss we need Brainssssss...

WTH??

The darkness always brings them out
life in the big city I suppose,
everyone is into the time of year
now I guess some of my new neighbors have been exposed.

I tossed up my little sign
sorry no brains are here tonight
move along brain eating zombies
go find a different neighbor

on which to dine

LOL

( sorry but really this happened) people running around outside moaning how they needed more brains brains )
