You've taken my life, and made it brighter
The stress on my heart, has become lighter
Because I am at ease, when you are around
Two hearts with wings, forever bound

Your smile is heaven, lights up the sky
As you stun my sight, with your breathtaking eyes
Your lips are perfect, and your kiss is pure
My heart has been filled, by your beautiful cure

You can forget, but do not erase
Where we have been, and our loving embrace
It’s been like no other, two destined souls
two lives brought together, two hearts made whole

I wish there was more, that I could give
I’d give you everything, eternity we’d live
But you’re in my soul, forever in my heart
Infinity is still ours, even though we’re apart

The full moon will shine, and butterflies will pass
There will always be something, our memories will last
A gorgeous overlook or quiet romantic trail
Just being together, meant nothing could fail

But we must bid farewell, and say goodbye
Spread our wings, and let the butterflies fly
Till we cross paths again, and you look my way

Forever and a Day


You've taken my life, and made it brighter
