My Delusion
Date: Wednesday, 5th June 2013 @ 10:01:33 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry

I have retreated into the world
Of words
Illusion
Preferring to refuse
The sanity of civilization
Its disguised confusion
Rejecting normalcy
As unbearable
Poison to a fine mind
In the mouth
A thick sour wine
Delving into the darkest depths
Of imagination
On my knees
In worship and prostration
Marveling at my newly acquired universe
The world of words
Illusion
Allowing no outsiders
Or intrusion
Accept my invitation
Welcome to my delusion
