my whole world changes to a happier state
the air is fresh the breeze on my face
as i walk through the green grass what better place
its the start of summer the sky is blue
the golden sun casts a gentle hue
as i walk on upwards i hear a nicker
from the corner of my eye i see a gentle flicker
of sardis tail hes spotted me, i know what
hes thinking its time for tea
then all five heads pop up from grazing
they gallop towards me all guns blazing
and after they have all been fed their heads go down
its time for bed,
but not until the jobs are complete,
can i sit down in my rocking seat,
and here comes tom tom a handsome cat
jumps up on my lap hes quite fat
as he lies down and i stroke his fur
his eyes close gently with a purr
i lock the door its time to go
i remember the winter and all the snow
the mud and the puddles the big bales of hay
theres plenty of grass, now, its may.
my job is done its getting late
i walk away and climb the gate.
