The will to live my life the way I should
All our problems start in the early years of childhood
As children we learn who we are
I learned to fail, and to fail hard, but then ignore, apathy
I stop to smell the roses, they reek with death
Take time out of your day to avoid reflecting
Because most of what's happened is depressing
Long lost faces I'll never see again
I hate that time flows like a rushing river to sweep us away
I would give anything to see you again,
If only for another second
Just sit by my side and we can talk about the good days
Friend, damn my soul if there is no heaven
Damn my soul to nothingness if there is no happiness after death
I don't see how an atheist can feel at peace
Surely their minds are numbed
A monster of scientific thinking, just like science to ruin what is magical
I hate that
I hate it with such passion, and I hate that I adopted that sort of thinking
I hate that I can't feel what everyone else feels
When I look at them smile, laugh and joke
Its all second nature them! Humanity is so kind when the friends are together
Friendship is the sweetener of life, isolation is the echo in an empty cave
I hate that you're gone, all my absent friends from the past
I am sorry I never kept you around, that I fell silent in inconvenient times
I wish I could have all of you back with me, the impossible thing to do
Such bittersweet sorrow this is
