The story
Date: Saturday, 2nd February 2013 @ 07:21:08 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry
Contributed By: Lenny
Burnt edges, they were,
Smeared pages, there was,
the stories of our past,
Read me a story, she said,
Read me your story,
Stories from the glories of our past,
Triumphant cheers-
He read,
Blissful days-
it was,
Glorious years-
Lived on.
Sing me a sonnet, she said,
Sing me the sonnet,
the sonnets of joy.
