staring at the sky and thinking of the past with resentment,
you know no one's around to help in your lonely struggle,
broke to pieces-knowing death wont be so subtle,
what does life mean anyway-what's the purpose?,
can you make it another day-even god's uncertain,
as each day passes-you close your eyes and reminisce,
of how a child could eventually lose his innocence,
you finally open your eyes standing on a mountainside,
wings spread-your leap of faith seems gratifying,
as air and tears whip past you like a distant memory,
looking up one last time-like a crosses centerpiece,
your body falls-your soul gets carried by angels,
for a brief moment you wished you were in your cradle....

A person can go through many stages of depression,
staring at the sky and thinking of the past with resentment,
you know no one's around to help in your lonely struggle,
broke to pieces-knowing death wont be so subtle,
what does life mean anyway-what's the purpose?,
can you make it another day-even god's uncertain,
as each day passes-you close your eyes and reminisce,
of how a child could eventually lose his innocence,
you finally open your eyes standing on a mountainside,
wings spread-your leap of faith seems gratifying,
as air and tears whip past you like a distant memory,
looking up one last time-like a crosses centerpiece,
your body falls-your soul gets carried by angels,
for a brief moment you wished you were in your cradle....
