Guilt

Lost in anonymity created by the lies of this game
It's critical to be cynical but the outlook's the same
Applied leverage is pivotal, we levy our blame
Guilt builds in our hearts, the herald of our shame
Crippling dark motives, lethargic and lame
Not to say we are remedied, our evils aren't tame
For iniquity becomes us, and we're burned by its flame
It's shadow consumes us, and sullies our name
We were never purposed pure, our meaning was to maim
To lay beside our destruction, and rue what we became
