Time For Granted

Never take a minute for granted,
Never know when it'll be your last.
Make sure and seize every second,
Don't let one second slip right past.
When you wrap your arms around her,
Hold her for just a minute longer.
Treat it as a moment of meaning,
Allow your inhibitions to be laundered.
As you gaze into her eyes,
Return for one last look.
You'll never know if you've written,
The final chapter in your book.
Be sure to take a mental image,
You can carry the rest of your life.
Use it to mend your wounds,
When life cuts you like a knife.
Listen to every last word,
That flows across her lips.
Cause when it all disappears,
The words you'll surely miss.
Make an impression in your mind,
Type it out in uppercase bold.
For it may be the last thing,
From her you ever get to hold.
Never take a minute for granted,
Never know when it'll be your last.
Make sure and seize every second,
Don't let one second slip right past.
