A Daydream At The Lake

As if for amusement’s sake
She was throwing stones instinctively
And in amazement she saw immediately
Many concentric circles filling the lake
As she was gazing at the circles’ make
She felt the power of radio waves instantly
Carrying her so speedily
On a travelling spree with no break
Then when the water stood quiet and smooth
Her image was still there telling her the truth
That she hadn’t gone to any faraway places
Overwhelmed she was by great sadness
For not having had the chance to access
New landscapes, new emotions, new faces
