well it's the last day of school
they wait all year for this day
my kids find it pretty funny
turning there dads hair grey
doing all they can
to keep me on my toes
they go out of there way
but that's the way it goes
my seven year old son
& my four teenage girls
they are what keeps me young at heart
they are what brightens up my world
there is never any time
to be feeling left alone
no such things as bordum
living in my home
I always see new faces
teenage boys up & down the road
I just tell them this is no truck stop
find somewhere else to park your load
my girls are all respectful
to me in everyway
& no boys interfere with that
in any given way
well I know it wont last forever
probably my only fear
but I'm determined to enjoy it
as long as it is here
one day they will look back
& see how much there daddy cares
with a heart so full of love
& unconditional
anywhere
no doupt they are my legacy
for me it does hold so much pride
they are my angels sent from heaven
my tears & my pride
