Being Rock
Date: Friday, 2nd March 2012 @ 01:14:21 AM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry

Sometimes I wish I were a rock,
And not a human, like you and me..
Someone would just stumble on me,
Spit an abuse and simply walk off..
At night, someone might just sleep by me,
Even if I am not that soft..
You could also make a statue out of me,
Carve me as you wish and then worship your lord..
I could also live by the flowing river,
Live silently and cry without a thought..
And then if someone would call my heart a rock,
I would agree and proudly nod...!
