Queen Bee

You're like a bee,
Your sting is in my skin.
Try to pull it out,
Squeezes more venom in.
I didn't mean,
To let you get your hold,
Hold right on my soul.
Now you just won't let it go.
So I made a plan.
But it just won't do.
Can't get rid of you.
Get off,
Get off of me.
You're like,
Like an angry bee.
Even if it kills you,
You can't seem to let me be.
At first,
Honey you were my queen.
You were the bees knees.
But now you just won't leave.
I told a lie,
Told a lie to you.
That you were the one.
What a silly thing to do.
So I wrote,
Wrote a song about a bee.
Attempting to set myself free.
Hopefully softens the blow.
Hoping I can finally go.
Get off,
Get off of me.
You're like,
Like an angry bee.
Even if it kills you,
You can't seem to let me be.
