Why would anyone want to teach
The world to sing in harmony,
Or turn their swords into plowshares?
It makes no common sense to me.

When that happens there’ll be no killing,
And the world will only hear this sound,
“All Hail The Power and “He Is Worthy,”
From sunup until the sun goes down.

Apple trees and honey bees
Will flourish more than ever before.
And turtle doves, symbolizing love
Will fill the skies from shore to shore!

So, what’s the deal with singing?
Why should the whole world
want to join in song?
You can’t look down a rifle barrel
If cheeks are moving when you sing along!
