A tree was in His future.
But that was His Fathers joy!

Wise men and kings came from afar,
To seek out this new born Child
They followed a magnificent star,
To bring gifts and to worship awhile!

All who came did bend their knees,
To honor and worship in love.
But behind it all was that looming tree,
The ultimate gift from above! He came into a stable,
In a smelly middle eastern cave.
A King above all others,
To humble Himself as a slave.

A ruler who was the Creator,
Now alive as a baby boy.
A tree was in His future.
But that was His Fathers joy!

Wise men and kings came from afar,
To seek out this new born Child
They followed a magnificent star,
To bring gifts and to worship awhile!

All who came did bend their knees,
To honor and worship in love.
But behind it all was that looming tree,
The ultimate gift from above!
