[bodytext] => If given the ears to hear man’s inner thoughts
To gaze upon his soul
A never-ending journey
Through a long and narrow road
You’d see the pain from his destruction
The utter disgust he reserves for himself
The love that lasts lifetimes
And the love that lasts the night
You’d see a life of waste and worry
An endless pursuit for gain and wealth
You’d see man’s quest for better answers
Since he is puzzled with himself
For he’s the life that keeps beginning
And the death that never ends
On the earth that he’s neglected
For somewhere else his soul would spend
