Lock up the door
And throw away the key
Shut me up inside
I dont want to see
I tried my best to please you
I mean it I really did
But how can I read your mind
And mistakes you deathly forbid
I bound myself to you in thoughts
Much stronger than in words
So when you died, I grew cold inside
My life unflew backwards
I fought against the pain, the fear
All I wanted was you to be near
To see you, feel you everyday
Touch you hear you
But there was a gulf that lay between us
A break I could never heal
The love I once felt for you
I could not, would not feel
Seperation was meant to be a blessing
Privacy a joy
But life was never simple
Neither was your ploy
And so against my efforts
Your pain it still did break
My ever aching, bleeding heart
Was yours still free to take
